Church links

Steep School is a Church of England Controlled school which means that it has very close links to the Church of England through the parish church. Children visit All Saints Church, as as part of their curriculum work and for church services at Harvest , Christmas, Easter and for a school leavers service at the end of the year. Year 6 pupils also take part in the Portsmouth Diocesan Leavers service at Portsmouth Cathedral.

Collective worship, based on the foundations of the Church of England, takes place on a daily basis in the school. Parents are invited to take part in the collective worship led by their child's class.
