Crime and Punishment

At the beginning of this topic I had to give a sample of my handwriting and even provide my fingerprints as evidence for the Falcons class as part of their forensic crime scene investigation.  Thankfully following this I was no longer a suspect in their ongoing enquiries. Phew!  As a launch to their topic on Crime and Punishment, the Falcons  had to use all the evidence at their disposal to determine who the guilty culprit was in a suspected murder enquiry. Mrs Leonard’s planning and resources for this activity went slightly viral within the teaching community online, and no wonder!  The children said it was the best lesson they had EVER had.  Their key text was ‘Murder at Twilight’ by Fleur Hitchcock.
