Steep Church of England VC Primary School

Each half term, the children are presented with a homework grid with a range of activities inspired by our current topic.  Once a week, you need to choose one activity from the grid, complete it and upload it on Seesaw.  We will be sharing our homework in class each Monday. 

Our expectation is that every child reads at home every day.  A weekly tick sheet will be stuck into their reading record to help you keep track of your sessions.  

Children will also have new spellings to learn every two weeks.   They will complete a spelling quiz in school every two weeks (Mondays).  This is recorded in t their reading record so you can share their successes and next steps with them.  If you would like ideas on how to learn spellings, there is a useful guide below.
