No wonder the children loved this topic based on the story Wonder by RJ Palacio.  They explored  the themes within the book and used this as an opportunity to explore different perspectives in relationships.  In art they created their own self-care self portraits using words and images.   In Science they discovered the wonders of how our bodies work, making their own models to represent blood: white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets and plasma and disecting hearts; before going on a trip to London to  the exhibition ‘Body Worlds’.
